What I delivered

  • Program showcase
  • Donation flow
  • Volunteer sign-up flow
  • Custom carousel
  • Fully static build

The problem

Mavin Star needed a trustworthy online presence that encourages donations and volunteer participation — without any backend infrastructure to maintain or pay for. For a small non-profit, running costs and complexity matter as much as looks.

Key decisions

I chose boring, durable technology on purpose. A fully static build means nothing to break, nothing to patch, and near-zero hosting cost — exactly what a volunteer-run organisation can sustain long-term.

I made the two actions that matter impossible to miss. Everything routes toward donating or volunteering, so a visitor who wants to help always has a clear next step.

What I built

A lightweight, responsive website with a program showcase, clear donation and volunteer flows, a custom carousel, and structured content — built with reusable components and deployed as a fully static site.

The outcome

A fast, trustworthy presence the organisation can keep running with almost no technical overhead, that makes helping out straightforward.

Built with

React, Vite, and React Router.
